Hey there! I’m Mikayla. I’m an actor working and living in New York.
Delighted to make your acquaintance! I'm a performer and collaborator finding meaningful work through theatre, education, and marketing.
I perform in shows:
I’m currently Princess Eloise in The Princess and the Frog at the Downtown Cabaret Theatre’s Children’s Company in Bridgeport, CT.
I’m a resident performer for Comedy Democracy, the newest show at Chain Theatre here in N.Y.C.
I sing at The McKittrick Follies, a variety show performed at The Manderley Bar in The McKittrick Hotel (home of Sleep No More.)
You can spot me on your television by watching Evil Lives Here on the Discovery Channel (Investigation Discovery), or The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
I work and volunteer in education: Education and accessibility are two very important factors in enriching our community and culture and I look for projects that help facilitate the mission to make art available for everyone.
I actively work with The Writers Theater of New Jersey and Instant Shakespeare Company to bring accessible theater throughout the tri-state area.
I mentor for Young Storytellers in NYC.
For the last seven years, I’ve judged for (and used to compete in) the New Jersey Speech and Debate League, a competition-based organization that exists to promote the arts of effective communication among students in public and independent schools in New Jersey.
I do marketing on a freelance basis for several non-profit theater companies:
I run Public Relations for the Downtown Cabaret Theatre
I’ve previously worked with:
Whether it's performing, marketing, or education, I'm here to contribute and play my part. If that’s up your alley, please do leave me a note on the contact page, and let’s connect!
Cheers,
